Gabriel Tolkowsky launches North American tour

New York–World-renowned diamond cutter Sir Gabriel (Gabi) Tolkowsky has embarked on a North American tour, visiting jewelry retailers and colleges to discuss Gabrielle Diamonds and their light-reflecting and refracting properties.

The 105-facet Gabrielle Diamond, named after its creator, contains nearly twice as many facets as a typical 58-facet ideal-cut diamond, according to the company.

A sixth-generation diamond master, Tolkowsky has cut two major historical diamonds: the world’s largest colorless diamond, the “Centenary Diamond,” at 273.85 carats; and the world’s largest polished diamond, the “Golden Jubilee,” a 545.65-carat warm-hued stone.

“We were very excited to offer our retail customers the opportunity to host the world’s most distinguished diamond expert, Gabi Tolkowsky,” Gabrielle Diamonds President Glenn Markman said in a media release. “This was a once-in-a-lifetime chance for our retailers and their customers to meet and experience the man who created the Gabrielle Diamond, a diamond more amazing than any other diamond.”

The brand also recently launched the Gabrielle Diamond Jewelry Collection in North America. The collection includes a complete bridal and engagement ring selection as well as earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets and other rings. Each piece is set with Gabrielle Diamonds and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
