Nyon, Switzerland–Hublot has upped the ante on “unique,” crafting a white gold and black diamond timepiece that does not reveal a single grain of gold.The “One Million $ Black Caviar Bang” features a completely invisible setting, showing only the black and deep tones of the diamonds.The Swiss watch brand worked in collaboration with setting workshop Bunter SA to manufacture the timepiece, which houses a tourbillon and whose case is a one-piece construction set with 322 black diamond baguettes.

GIA Lab offers Holiday Express Service
Saturday, December 13th, 2008Carlsbad, Calif.–The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced that the GIA Laboratory will again offer its Holiday Express Service during the holiday season, from Dec. 1-19.
Holiday Express Service makes it possible for a customer to get lab results within three days, excluding shipping time. The service will quote a turnaround time to customers on a case-by-case basis, depending on the day’s volume.
